Fire Risk Assessment – Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions of business:

  1. Costs.

All sums payable will be agreed with you beforehand in our proposal document.

  1. Delivery arrangements.

All deliveries of fire risk assessments will be made by email unless otherwise agreed. The aim is to have the assessment document back to you within 7-10 working days from the assessment visit.

  1. Payment terms.

Payment is in advance either by cheque, BACS payment or PayPal unless credit terms are otherwise agreed.

  1. Credit limits.

Payment is on terms of 30 days from date of invoice. We reserve the right to make additional administration charges of Bank of England Base rate plus 2% on invoice totals every month for invoices which are unpaid after 30 days.

  1. Commitment to quality.

We are aware that sometimes things do not go according to plan. Although we make every attempt to fulfil our commitments if you think we have slipped up please do get in touch on our office number and ask for the Office Manager. If this does not resolve the issue you can ask to speak with the Managing Director. We also have a page on our website for any comments you may have. Our liability to you is limited to the contract price and Safety Management UK shall not be liable for any loss arising direct or indirect from the undertaking of the contract.

We reserve the right to change or alter these terms and conditions at any time.


Private, Company and On-Site Courses Bookings - Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions of business:

  1. Costs.

All sums payable will be agreed with you beforehand in our proposal document. Prices quoted are inclusive of tuition, Course Materials, assessment where applicable, and certification. The price does not include any lunch, travel, accommodation or living expenses, which the Delegate may incur in attending the Course unless otherwise agreed. Companies booked on a course shall be responsible for the calibre of candidates that they provide. Companies who fail to provide candidates who are physically capable of completing the course shall forfeit that candidate’s fee.

  1. Payment terms.

Payment is in advance either by cheque, BACS payment or PayPal unless credit terms are otherwise agreed. Invoicing for training will occur prior to the course being run. Please note that certificates will be held until full payment of invoicing has been received unless otherwise agreed. The Customer may substitute a Delegate on a Course at no additional charge. The Customer may change the date of attendance of a Delegate or cancel attendance at a course subject to the following scale of charges

Open Course

Notice to be given by the Customer to Safety Management UK ltd:

  Transfer Fee Cancellation Fee
More than one week 0% 10%
Less than 24 hrs notice 0% 25%
No notice of non attendance given 25% 100%

On-Site Courses

Notice to be given by the Customer to Safety Management UK ltd:

  Transfer Fee Cancellation Fee
More than 14 days 0% 0%
7 - 14 days 0% 10%
Less than 7 working days 25% 50%
No notice given 100% 100%

In relation to transfers, the Customer agrees that if a replacement booking is not confirmed within 7 days then the applicable cancellation fee shall become payable.
